I created a game:
-Normal mode
-with Marine world expansion
-with options:
-Same map to all player
-Random map
-Alternative maps 1-8
-Add 9-10 maps

And I started a game with option to choose one map from two and my opponent did the same. And our maps are different.
For example table:

Arena`s tables work without this problem but the settings are the same (I mean Same map option)

Sorry but again this is a lobby issue, you can clearly see on the table page that the competitive option is set to "normal" and not to "same map to all players" :

I had the same issue, but I think I found a workaround.

I wanted to play on Map 10 (Rescue Station), so I chose Map Pack, Same Map and Map 10. I left Alternative Maps on, because I didn't think it would matter. But when everyone had joined and the game was about to start, for a brief moment there was a red error saying that the maps in the Map Pack didn't have alternatives and so the game mode would be changed to Normal.

Okay, so try again, but this time with Alternative Maps unchecked. There was no error this time, but it still started up in Normal Mode. Apparently it used the cached value for the mode instead of the actual one.

In order to get out of this rut, I first created a game in Normal Mode before switching back to Same Map mode. Map Pack still on, Alternative Maps still off, Map 10 reselected. This seemed to have done the trick. Still a bug though, but now we have a workaround.

BTW, reverting to Normal Mode just because the maps in the Map Pack don't have alternatives (yet) is a strange decision. If there is no alternative map, just use the original one. That way I never need to switch off Alternative Maps whether or not I select one from the Map Pack.
