It then says it is the next person's turn, but when the page is loaded, it is still stuck on my turn confirmation. Undo turn to attempt to reset turn does not work either.

Table #547932563 same problem at move #287. Player before me shows as their turn, but attempts to pass and gets "error while processing database request". Has "passed" multiple times. It shows as my turn, but I can't take actions, says it isn't my turn when I try.

Undo was not involved. Confirmed turn to end it. Then got error message from original post. Refreshing page went back to confirmation. If undo was used, error still popped up and refresh would be back at the confirmation option. Our player who was after me tried advance pass instead of doing their turn and one player quit as well. Somehow it started working again, but at that point, playing was a waste.

My other thought is it could be a timeout bug. I got to the confirmation of turn while playing on mobile. Did not select and put phone to lock screen while doing parenting things. Got back to app nearly an hour later with confirmation screen there. Confirmed with no issue. But once the page refreshed, the loop began.

Not Mobile App, all my issues are from Mac, only on Terraforming Mars. Appears to disappear and reappear slightly later in some games. As an IT guy dating back to IBM mainframes, the 'happens sometimes' bugs are the hardest to debug. Good luck!

Can't take next turn.

It happened after undoing then confirming that action.

Regarding undo'ing: I am in a game (550673310) where both of the other players have passed, and therefore I am both the player (unsuccessfully) trying to confirm turn end and also the player who goes next. If I take my turn, confirm (triggering the "Unexpected error: Error while processing database request" error), and then try to take an action on my subsequent turn, I get:

"Internal Error. That should not have happened. Reload page and Retry Illegal operation. Refresh and try again?"

If I subsequently reload, I am returned to the "confirm end of turn" stage. I can undo, which returns me to the beginning of the original turn.

Also, while this is the same table I posted about above, note that it is now a later move. The game is turn based, so after being unable to complete that turn I went and did other things for a while, and after a few hours I was able to complete the move 185 turn without error. This is a later turn in the same game where the issue has reocurred.

In case it’s helpful: My table no longer has that error. I undid my turn (had just bought drafted cards and was stuck at my opponent’s turn), re-did it, and the issue is gone now.

This TM game is also stuck: aliendad finished turn and it appears as next table to play for EllenDickson, but it won’t let EllenDickson actually play.

BGA the website seems convinced it's my turn and sent me an email notification to that effect. Once I enter the game, it appears to me as if it isn't my turn; the hourglass is spinning next to my opponent and they're the one losing time.

Locked Turn symptoms have disappeared.

Have had a few DB error messages since the DB fix, but none that resulted in Locked Turn.

Thanks again, not sure if it's been long enough (been about 4-5 hours since your response) but just wanted to report back that it's still not fixed.

I will keep trying but it appears like the clock is counting down and it will think I've run out of time to make my move.

My opponent has not responded to my chat questions, so I am not sure what they are seeing or if they are aware.

@Victoria_La Undo: The issue arose when trying to end the turn, but when we repeatedly got the error message, we tried to 'undo' our actions in hope this would settle the problem. It only resulted in the same error.

It does look like it is fixed for my game now. What I suspect happened was that you fixed it, and it was reliant on my opponent to make the next move.

However, the game was still outwardly saying that it was my turn and not notifying my opponent it was there turn. They finally noticed this this morning, and made their turn and the game is working again now.
