The link for the BGA tournament is on page 1 of the rules. Please, please, PLEASE make sure you read the rules so that there aren't any unpleasant surprises for anyone.

If you haven't participated in BGA tournaments recently, I strongly recommend that you read the BGA Tournament Survival Guide: https://bit.ly/3AIcXpp

The best way to ask questions during the tournament will be if you join the tournament's Discord server: ComplixVandh, our moderator, will be there able to answer questions or troubleshoot problems. He will not be able to see the tournament chat, as he is not registered for the tournament.

관련 정보 US National Carcassonne Championship 2024

The 2024 US National Carcassonne Championship will be held here on BGA on August 24 & 25 and will start promptly at 9:00 AM Pacific Time / 12:00 PM Eastern Time on both days.

All games will be with 2 players and without any expansions (or strategic variant). It will be open to players from (or currently living in) the United States, and one player will qualify to participate in the 2024 World Carcassonne Championship at Spielezentrum in Herne, Germany (October 5, 2024).

Day 1 - Preliminary rounds: Swiss system tournament of 6 games run by the automated BGA tournament system. Each game allows 15 minutes per player. The top 8 players at the end of this phase will continue on to the next phase (Day 2) of the championship. (3.5 hours max)

Day 2 - Play-offs (Elimination rounds) will be managed by the arbiters on the tournament's Discord server (https://discord.gg/vykzppbAYG). This phase will consist of a standard seeded rank play-off between the top 8 players from Day 1. Each encounter will be a best-of-three match (stopping when one player has two wins), and the winner progresses to the next round. The winner of the final round is the Champion! The semi-finalists who do not progress to the final round will have the option of a play-off match to determine who wins 3rd place. (This phase consists of 3 rounds of best-of-three matches, and could last between 3.5 - 5 hours)
