A spectacular duel unfolds deep beneath the earth. You take turns sending out mighty dragons to conquer territories. But place them wisely! If your beasts grow too powerful, they'll turn on each other, and you could lose everything.
Dragon Overload is a card game for two, part of our 2026 Summer of Games.
You compete to send your dragons into five landscapes and gain majority there. Each zone is associated with a specific family of dragons and can hold only a limited number of cards.
How does it work? On your turn, you select one of your cards and place it in one of the available slot on your side of the board. Your opponent gets the card from the pile of the chosen area, and he then plays one of his cards. And so on…
The game is based on a territory-control mechanism, but accumulating power isn't necessarily the best strategy. If the strength of your dragons reaches at least twice that of your opponent’s in a zone, your creatures become uncontrollable and you automatically lose that territory. This rule turns your duels into an exercise in balance and anticipation.
Dragon Overload incorporates an element of bluffing thanks to the possibility to play up to three cards face down. Incomplete information forces your opponent to interpret your intentions while protecting their own plans.
The game ends when one player controls all five territories, when an opponent can no longer perform a valid action, or when all zones are filled. The player with the most territory at that point wins.

땅속 깊은 곳에서 장대한 결투가 펼쳐집니다. 강력한 용들을 차례로 내보내 영토를 정복하세요. 하지만 용들을 현명하게 배치해야 합니다! 용들이 너무 강해지면 서로 공격하여 모든 것을 잃을 수도 있습니다.
드래곤 오버로드는 2인용 카드 게임으로, 저희가 준비한 2026년 여름 게임 시리즈의 일부입니다.
다섯 개의 지역에 용을 보내어 각 지역의 우위를 점하기 위해 경쟁합니다. 각 지역은 특정 용족과 연관되어 있으며, 제한된 수의 카드만 배치할 수 있습니다.
게임 방식은 다음과 같습니다. 자신의 차례가 되면 카드 한 장을 선택하여 보드판 자신의 영역에 있는 빈 슬롯 중 하나에 놓습니다. 상대방은 선택된 영역의 카드 더미에서 카드를 가져와 자신의 카드 중 하나를 냅니다. 이런 식으로 게임이 진행됩니다.
이 게임은 영토 점령 메커니즘을 기반으로 하지만, 힘을 축적하는 것이 항상 최선의 전략은 아닙니다. 특정 지역에서 아군 드래곤의 힘이 상대군 드래곤의 두 배 이상이 되면, 아군 드래곤은 통제 불능 상태가 되고 해당 영토를 자동으로 잃게 됩니다. 이 규칙 덕분에 결투는 균형과 예측력을 요구하는 경쟁으로 변모합니다.
드래곤 오버로드는 최대 세 장의 카드를 뒷면으로 낼 수 있는 능력을 통해 블러핑 요소를 포함하고 있습니다. 불완전한 정보는 상대방으로 하여금 자신의 계획을 보호하면서 당신의 의도를 추측하게 만듭니다.
한 플레이어가 다섯 개의 영토를 모두 장악하거나, 상대방이 더 이상 유효한 행동을 할 수 없거나, 모든 구역이 채워지면 게임이 종료됩니다. 이때 가장 많은 영토를 가진 플레이어가 승리합니다.
