규칙 요약
Before the game begins, 18 dice (6 each color) are rolled and three face-up cards are dealt to the shared area.
(If playing the game with the Hidden Scoring Cards, one is dealt to each player)
The game is played over 4 rounds and each round consists of two phases: the drafting phase and the clean-up phase.
DRAFTING PHASE:
The first player chooses a card to add to their Bandada, performs the actions listed in the ACTION section at the top of the card, then scores points according to the SCORE section at the bottom of the card.
A new face-up card is dealt to the shared area.
Then the second player chooses a card to add to their Bandada, performs the actions and scores points.
Actions:
All the actions modify the dice in some way. You must perform all the actions listed, even if you don't want to.
If the action tells you to alter multiple dice, you can choose the same die again (so for example, if the action says to adjust two yellow dice by +1, you can add +2 to one die by clicking on it twice).
The dice wrap around, so adding 1 to 6 makes it 1 and subtracting 1 from 1 makes it 6.
Flipping a die means turning a physical die upside down. The values of the opposite sides always add up to 7 (so flipping a 1 makes it 6, flipping a 2 makes it 5, flipping a 3 makes it 4 and so on).
CLEAN-UP PHASE
All birds and both players' Bandadas score points according to their SCORE sections.
The two remaining bird cards are discarded and 3 new cards are drawn from the deck face-up to the shared area.
The first player alternates.
Note: A card scores points immediately after being played and then during the clean-up phase, which means it scores twice in the round it was played.
Note: The first player alternating between the rounds means a player usually takes two turns in a row.
Note: The numbers wrap around for the purpose of scoring too, so for example 4, 5, 1, 2 are considered consecutive numbers.
GAME END
After the clean-up phase of the 4th round, the player with the most points wins. If playing with the Hidden Scoring Cards, after the clean-up phase of the 4th round, the Hidden Scoring Card of each player is revealed and scores for one of the two conditions listed (the one that will give more points). Then the player with the most points is the winner.
Solo variant
In the solo mode, the player competes with the AI player. There are the following changes in the rules:
- Only two face-up cards are dealt each round.
- The human player only scores points during the clean-up phase, there aren't any points just after placing the card.
- The human player is always the first player.
- The AI player doesn't score any points from the cards scoring conditions. Instead, each round after the human player has chosen a bird to add to their Bandada, the AI player gets points equal to the number at the bottom right corner of the card.
- If playing the solo variant with the Hidden Scoring Cards, the human player gets points from the Hidden Scoring Card at the end of the game as normal. The AI player does not.
- The human player wins if they score more points than the AI player.
